The following comments are taken straight from the guestbook we keep for The Farm. Verbatim.
The Farm is a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time.
Accommodation was excellent - houses and grounds. grandchildren loved the space to play and all enjoyed the games room.
Thankyou for your message. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Farm and found it ideal for our large party with ages from 4 to 90 years. The games room was fantastic. All our bedrooms were extremely comfortable and everyone thought it was a superb place. We would like to return at some time, possibly in the summer when we can enjoy the full surroundings, as the weather this Christmas was not conducive to spending time outdoors. It is not easy to find suitable accommodation for our ever increasing family to get together when we need so many bedrooms so The Farm has been a real find for us. Many thanks.
Just to let you know that the Farm was a brilliant venue for our long weekend. From the owners friendly welcome and thorough initial tour, they were true to their word and were available for a couple of queries. The property was clean, well maintained and had everything we wanted (and more!)
We had a lovely Christmas at the Farm - beautifully set, warmly welcomed and a really memorable time for a group of 7 families
We had an amazing time and I've already recommended your place to our families. The property is lovely and was the perfect stay for the weekend. People said it was the best holiday let they had stayed in and one just messaged me saying 'the place was unreal'.
We had a wonderful holiday thank you and are hoping to book again for next year
We had a cracking stay and will absolutely be recommending it to friends and family.
I had a wonderful family weekend celebrating my birthday. Everyone was impressed by the Farm & it’s amenities & views. I have already recommended you to friends, & hope in the future to revisit. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful weekend.
We had a really super weekend and everyone in the family said how lovely the house is and what a beautiful spot with all the scenery. There was so much space for everyone and everywhere was so lovely and clean and comfortable and there was everything you could possibly need. My Mum especially enjoyed her surprise weekend for her birthday. All the family had a super weekend stay and said they would love to come back again.
Thanks again for another fab venue
Thank you for your care and attention while we spent a fabulous time there with our family. The games room was particularly useful for the whole family and proved a great hit with all ages. The fittings in general throughout the house were of a high very high standard. I would definitely recommend peak venues to others. Thank you again for your attention to detail.

Black Rocks is a small weathered outcrop of natural gritstone, close to Wirksworth and Cromford. Originally mined for Lead it's great for searching for a variey of rocks and minerals. A popular location for walkers and climbers offering great circuit walks, taking you through the adjoining woods. The area is well known for it's hard climbs, where there is a slightly easier climb it is still not for the faint hearted. There are breath-taking views from the top of the rocks. A picnic area is also nearby.

Looking from the property you can see the memorial tower in the distance. Located in Crich this memorial was erected to remember the Sherwood Foresters who died in battle in WW1. Built in 1923 on the site of an older tower which was called Crich Stand it is now a destination for an annual pilgrimage for old and new members of the regiment which is held on the 1st Sunday in July. A steep climb up to the tower, but once you get to the top you will be blown away with the glorious views of the surrounding area. With a small cafe on site it's a perfect backdrop to enjoy a quick snack.
