The Bull I' Th' Thorn

After an unforgettable summer season, The Bull i' th' Thorn will be closing its doors indefinitely after Sunday 3rd November 2024. A heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers at The Bull i' th' Thorn over the years, and exciting times ahead for its sister pub The Royal Oak at Hurdlow. (Please note, the Comedy Village event on Sunday 10th November 2024 will still go ahead as planned and the pub will still be bookable as a function event space).

This summer, we have been delighted to serve some amazing pizzas and burgers, host countless campers, and even become the local home for the Euros! It has truly been a fantastic few months, and we are deeply grateful for each and every one of you for your unwavering support.

We're excited to focus all our efforts on our other pub, The Royal Oak at Hurdlow, which as always is ready to welcome both regulars and new visitors. The Royal Oak continues to offer great homemade food, a warm welcome, and an inviting atmosphere.

While we are sad to say goodbye to The Bull i' th' Thorn, we look forward to seeing you just down the road at The Royal Oak, where the journey continues. Keep a close eye on their social media for the launch of the new menu coming very soon, with some 'old favourites' making a welcome return.
